The products that AQUA VET represents and distributes in Greece and in the wider Mediterranean region include specialized and authorised formulations for use in fish and when needed, they are accompanied by veterinary prescription.
Special emphasis is given in the development of products for the prevention of predominant diseases (i.e. vaccines, immunostimulants, and nutritional agents). In parallel, our products include antimicrobial agents which are administered in cases of verified infection that requires treatment. The administration of these therapeutic agents is performed after diagnosis by a qualified veterinarian and available on prescription.
The documentation of disease outbreaks in farmed fish is constantly being performed by our scientific personnel and in collaboration with international research laboratories we aim in the isolation of the causative agent and in the subsequent development of effective preventive strategies and products.
