This unit is created to host different issues of fish pathology in order to understand better the diseases (bacterial, viral, parasitic etc) of all farmed Mediterranean (or not) fish species.Here one can find information on common diseases (like Vibriosis, Pasteurellosis, Myxobacteriosis, Lymphocytes etc) that infect farmed fish (gilthead sea bream, sea bass, sharpsnout sea bream etc) in Greek aquaculture.This unit is going to include articles written by prominent Greek and international fish pathologists. You may find subjects related to research and development (R&D) of diseases, treatment methods and other.Moreover, we will be posting photographs of microorganisms (viruses, bacteria, parasites etc) that infect fish, as well as pictures of fish with distinct lesions associated with infection by these pathogenic agents. Videos are also going to be included attesting the behavior of fish during the progression of different diseases.
